Earlier today, anyone remaining in the Lower Ninth Ward would have gotten a scare. The sight of water lapping at the top of the newly rebuilt floodwall, and seeping through openings would have surely brought memories of Katrina, and fears of a new breach ... but most of the residents of the neighborhood had taken buses out of town on Saturday. leaving a handful of hardly journalists to document the event.
