Bristol Palin
September 2, 2008 | Savannah, Georgia | Vetting explained
Just like Bristol, I became pregnant at the age of 17. I chose to keep my son, I do not believe in abortion. I really think it takes a strong devoted person to become a parent. Its the best thing in the world. If it wasnt for my son i dont think i would be the person I am today. Having kids is a very challenging job but also very rewarding. It was difficult being a young single mom with the everyday activities. In the middle of having a child, i graduated high school and i graduated college. I am also in the process of persuing my education. It was tuff but I got through it. I am now married and have another little one. I am responsible for what i do not my parents.
Bristols pregnancy should not be paraded around in the media like it is. The decison she has made in life does not make her mother Sarah Palin less of a parent because her daughter didnt choose to follow her mothers views. This should not reflect on Palin views or beliefs as a VP ticket. She did her job as a parent. Bristol knew right from wrong and she made a decision she will have to live with not her mom. Our parents are only responsible for showing us the right way to do things but we reach a age to where know better. Bristol can still do so many things in life. Anything she desires she can do. It will be hard but very rewarding in the end. I think Sarah Palin is a great replublican ticket and i support her and her family 100%.
