South Florida getting ready for Ike
September 4, 2008 | Boynton Beach, Florida | Vetting explained
I was at the gas station this evening 9/4/08 and saw many people filling up many gas cans to prepare for Hurricane Ike. The lines for gas are getting longer... and the supply of water is getting low... even though the storm is 5 days away.
We are preparing.
*UPDATE* 9/5/08 9:10pm Most gas stations in South Florida are quickly running out of gas. Limited water as residents are quickly getting ready.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
