Where have the values of the Moral Compass gone?
I am writing out of utter frustration with all of the words, words and more words spoken by the Rep. party that have shown over a period of 8 years plunged this country's credibility, purpose and moral conduct to an all time low.
The middle class is not people or families who have annual incomes of $5million or more; the middle class are "hard working individuals, trying to hold on to the one (1) house they own and pay the ever increasing taxes on time. The middle class are comprised of individuals who (reality speaking) earn approximately $90K to $150K annually, who earn too much for college aid to assist their child for college and too little for a tax loop hole. We are the class that hope daily for all the lies, games, facades and malarky to STOP and "lawmakers and shakers" to realize we are not more than two (2) pay checks, an injury or illness away from falling off the scaffolding we've spent our entire exisiting building called: "A LIFE."
THE MIDDLECLASS are a people that encourage our children to go to school, get good grades, sex can wait til marriage, do not have children before marriage, education first, good education lead to good possiblity of a decent job with benefits. We tell our DAUGHTERS NOT TO have sex outside the boundries of marriage, teen-pregnancy is NOT A GOOD OPTION, we tell our SONS: "BE CAREFUL" stay away from this activity...after all; how would you feel if someone curtailed YOUR SISTER'S life.
MIDDLECLASS should NOT vote based on GENDER but ISSUES that have plague this nation. Voting for the McCAIN/PALIN ticket is not assisting the MIDDLECLASS. This ticket is MORE BUSH, MORE WAR with its sister FAMINE not far behind. The same Evangelical Christian groups who beat the nation in the head with "fornication is sin; sex outside of marriage and the off to hell you go sinner messages" are the same who are holding a banner to VOTE a ticket that the vice presidental candidate is parading a young lady 5 month pregnant before a nation of young people that we are having moral and integrity issues abound in. Yes, I AM ALL PRO-LIFE, nevertheless do not use this as a ploy to get voted onto a stage where ALL IS EXPOSED AND USED FOR an EXAMPLE.
Under the BUSH ADMINISTRATION this country have been ravished in unprecedented numbering of FORECLOSURES, ECONOMIC WOES and ROLLERCOASTER RIDES to the 10th power! IRAQ WAR we have NO BUSINESS involved with BIN LADEN is still living in the comforts of his cave in whereever land, We as a Nation have ALLOWED "OUTSOURCING" by large corporation so much we have not protected our own and people are giving up hope who are really trying hard. Our plant workers who just want to feed their children, do not understand how a nation of wealth allowed this to happen to them, literally failed them. The OIL is not the ONLY problem plaguing this nation. I would to take a moment to invite those in Washington and everywhere else that make decisions for this land to look in the mirror and ask three questions: "What would God say about the decisions I made today?" "were they for the good all ALL people?" and "was my decision with the utmost integrity?"
Our nation's capital have must think, think, think!
We have young men and women dying daily for what? Mothers and fathers cannot be comforted because their child is dead or blown up. After all this time, many like I, am still not as clear to understand, "why are we still in Iraq???" Billions of dollars spent, funded by the MIDDLECLASS.
The MIDDLECLASS does not own 8 houses! At the most 2 and working like three people and a mule to pay all mortgages and taxes on time, with all the other responsibilities we are accountable for; in which we are TAXED unequally!
We must, we have to make CHANGE to keep hope and moral conduct with integrity alive.
