Who are we kidding here. Most of America would much rather face a government run health care system than a corrupt Insurance industry. Military Veterans have government run health care. It is good enough for them and at least they have some sort of insurance. Profit driven Insurance companies have ruined the health care system. The truth is the multi billion dollar insurance companies support John McCain and want to see another Republican Candidate in office. What many in America are not aware of is that as soon as the Bush Republican party gained control they passed a bill for the insurance companies limiting malpractice settlements to $250,000. What this means is that a doctor can ruin your life or take out a good kidney by mistake and the most you can get is $250,000. This guaranteed the industry more profits. This example is exactly why the Republican Party always boasts to America "We do not want more Government". If one reads between the lines this statement actually means "we do not want anyone in government looking over our shoulder while we squeeze the golden goose""
