iReport —

At the McCain - Palin rally in Colorado Springs yesterday (Sept. 6) event organizers did not allow any homemade signs to be brought into the rally. However, once inside, several dozen "homemade signs"  were handed out, especially to those most visible to the media sitting in the bleachers behind McCain.

During their speech, both McCain and Palin made reference to a sign or two.

Is this really way to get the message out?
