It is the weekend and I have too much time on my hands, so here is another post.

Remember when boycotts were used to address social injustices. Like the boycotts of companies that did business in South Africa during apartheid?
There have been boycotts of companies for perceived racism, sexism, animal abuse, child abuse and other issues that pit the have nots against the haves.
Well in this brave new world we have a boycott of haves against a have for not supporting a have. Wow!
A group of republican women are calling for a boycott of Oprah (good luck) because she won't have Gov. Palin on her show. Now she supported Obama and not Sen. Clinton, but I don't recall hearingt hear calls of boycotts for her dissing Hilary?
Personally I would like to see Oprah have Hilary Clinton, Mrs. Obama, Mrs McCain and Gov. Palin on the same show.
Now it is my personal opinion that Oprah should have her on, her ratings would go through the roof! But Oprah is a multimillionaire and I am not. I think that she is much better qualified to make such decisions.
It will be interesting to see if this boycott goes anywhere :)
