Last Day for Astroland
September 7, 2008 | New york city, New York | Vetting explained
In its wake Hanna left us with a beautiful Sunday. No clouds
and no humidity; it was a nice day to say good bye. Astroland was closing for
good. There was suppose to be a support rally to keep it open at noon, but I did not see anyone. The place was relatively
crowed. There was a long line for the Wonder Wheel and the Cyclone’s roller coaster
was full. It seemed like everyone there had a camera. Everyone wanted to
remember.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
