The double standard
September 16, 2008 | Delray Beach, Florida | Vetting explained
Hillary Clinton put eighteen million cracks in that ceiling and I thought she erased the double standard. Then came Sarah Palin and we are back to stereotypes and double standards. Over the past years while the press and Republicans tore Hillary apart she kept on going until she was finally just another candidate, taking on all comers not with traditional cute quips but with knowledge and experience.
Can you imagine if in Joe Biden's acceptance speech he bragged he was a football coach with a helmet and jock strap and told us he could save money in the budget by selling the old furniture in the white house on ebay. He would be laughed at by the world and the press.
Sahara Palin said she was a hockey mom and a pit bull in lipstick and one of her economic plan is to sell government stuff on ebay.
You tell me, IS there a double standard?
