The cars that drive me.....
September 16, 2008 | Augusta, Idaho | Vetting explained
2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo V6 4x4 - 2000 Toyota Solara 4 Cylinder
I purchased the Jeep a little over 2 years ago used with 28k on it. I purchased it because going home (central Idaho) generally means driving over dirt roads and in the winter, snow packed roads. I plan to live there eventually and need the options the vehicle offers. Although I LOATHE 80+ dollars it takes to fill it up, there was NO WAY I could have forecast the idiocracy behind the gas inflation.
We recently purchased the Solara due to the theft of our 2008 Toyota Camry. Although the Solara does well on gas - it was NOTHING compared to the 35+ mpg that the Camry got. The investigation is still pending on the Camry and we couldn't wait for the settlement to buy a new car.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
