He brought warmth to The Floyd
September 18, 2008 | Vancouver, British Columbia | Vetting explained
I was shocked, and immediately saddened by the news of Richard Wright's death. Actually, it was his contribution that brought a warmth to the group's music and gave it an accessiblity to which has made it timeless. I've been a Floyd fan for over 30 years, and i was lucky enough to see their concert during the comeback tour of 1987. I especially enjoyed the show because of Richard Wright's return to the band. Second only to The Beatles, they were a special band, whose music has continued to inspire other bands and create new musical genres.
