iReport —

The picture of Sgt. Daniel Torres, killed in Iraq 2/4/05, 2nd tour, stop loss order, speaks for itself "STOP THE WAR."

Today, on the International Day of Peace (September 2008), my family remembers all the innocent civilians and military who have been victims of the governments who waged a war, and did not use all their diplomatic efforts for PEACE.

Today, we can make a difference by getting involved in the elections, and making sure the President, Vice President, Senators, Congressman, and all other elected officials, are qualified to use diplomacy and not take our country and love ones to a war that so far has no end, and has destroyed so many families.

Diplomacy is the answer to obtain International Peace and to have a better relationship with our neighbor’s world wide. This November elections, lets us select the candidates who have the experience at a national level and international level.

In memory of Sgt. Daniel Torres, killed in Iraq 2/4/05. (This picture was taken on July 2004 in Venice, Italy before Daniel returned to Iraq for the 2nd tour.)
