My friend and I visited Tibet in the summer last year and were impressed by the sheer grandeur of the country and the Himalayas-but not so by the political situation.People were afraid to talk-to tell the truth of how they are being treated by China's Socialist government.Cameras are everywhere-even in the holiest of Buddhist temples, and most businesses are owned by the Chinese.

There were thousands of people marching for freedom in Tibet in London today-so much so that the torch was forced into a bus several times as police failed to keep protesters at bay.

This is why we marched-currently no journalists are allowed into Tibet and as a result reports are distorted. The actual death tolls are grossly understated, and a recent BBC documentary shows evidence of Tibetans being tortured, forced to live in veritable concentration camps and Tibetan women being forcibly sterilsed-having their fallopian tubes removed without anaesthetic.

China.....you have a lot to answer for.
