September 26, 2008 | Main Street, District of Columbia | Vetting explained
Everyone should be aware of and eager to check this out. At www.publicmarkup.org, they have the Legislative Proposal from Treasury Dept. for the $700 billion bailout. They provide both the original proposal supplied by Paulson AND the newly revised 45 page rendition via Dodd. Obviously it's something pretty important for us all to read through -- see what we're being signed on to.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
