120 m.p.h Rush with Paul Newman
September 27, 2008 | Portland, Oregon | Vetting explained
My most favorite memory of Paul Newman is the one I shared with him at the Portland International Raceway in Portland, OR. Paul visited Portland the weekend of the races. I was fortunate to meet him and he graciously and proudly drove me around the track at speeds of 120 m.p.h. As we came to an end of our adventure of speed, I turned to him and asked, "Can I say that that was bitchin'?". In which he turned to me and passionately answered, "That was bitchin'!"
Thank you, Mr. Paul Newman for one of the best rushes of my life!
