Good luck "charm"-ing
September 28, 2008 | Norwalk, Connecticut | Vetting explained
I was one day away from giving birth to my first baby, sitting in my doctor's office in Westport, CT. I was on the fetal monitor and I was VERY SCARED. I looked out the window and there was Mr. Newman walking across the parking lot of the pharmacy next door! At that moment, I said to my husband that everything was going to be alright, and I knew that Mr. Newman was my good luck charm. Several months later, Mr. Newman made an appearance in town, and holding my baby, I told him the story. He grasepd my elbow and said, "That's great, that's great!" while my daughter tried to grab his glasses. Thank you, Mr. Newman. My deepest condolences to Ms. Crawford and the friends and family of the Newmans.
