My own no fly list
September 28, 2008 | Elizabeth City, North Carolina | Vetting explained
I put myself on my own no fly list. I have no intention of supporting the insane policies of the Bush administration's national security stupidity. We were safer on September 12 and nothing that the homeland security laws have done to hamper air traffic flight have increased our security. The reason 911 took place is because the airlines had a policy of negotiating with hijackers. Our awareness of that security flaw was all that we needed. The hijackers at 911 used knives to take control of the airplanes and the only reason they succeeded was because of the negotiation rule. The Homeland Security Act has done nothing to help us because the same stupid people are working for the HSA as were working for the CIA and FBI when we were attacked and the same stupid people have political power. You can’t fix a rusted car with a good wash. It makes it a clean rusted car. The events of 911 were caused by a combination of inept agencies and a lack of communication. We are now prepared. We used to tell the airlines to cooperate with hijackers. That policy was wrong. It was that cooperation policy which caused the events of 911. Immediately after 911 we no longer had that policy! If a hijacker decides to take a plane today, then the passengers are going to end that hijackers life, because we now know that everyone on board the plane will die. We don’t need the HSA to remove stupid policies from our institutions. We need to remove stupid people from those institutions. We do not need to fear "so called" terrorists and we should not put up with all the junk they put people through at the airports today. We need to fear the power hungry people in charge of this government. We need a regime change! Vote Democrat!
