Voters in Georgia went to the polls December 2 to vote in a run-off between Republican Senator Saxby Chambliss and Democratic challenger Jim Martin. Political luminaries such as former President Bill Clinton, and former presidential and vice presidential candidates such as Mike Huckabee and Sarah Palin got involved in the campaign. CNN now projects that Chambliss has won this re-vote, and Democrats will not have a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate.
