San Diego F/A-18 plane crash

A military fighter jet crashed into a residential neighborhood in San Diego, California, Monday as its pilot tried to land at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, an FAA spokesman told CNN. Firefighters were sent to the scene in the aftermath to battle blazes consuming several houses.
