Repeal 'don’t ask, don’t tell?'

The  U.S. military is making plans to  repeal its "don't ask, don't tell" policy regarding gay and lesbian service  members.

President  Obama announced plans to change the 17-year-old policy in his State of the Union  Address, but Congress makes the final decision.

Joint  Chiefs of Staff Chairman Adm. Mike Mullen has said that allowing gays and  lesbians to serve openly is "the right thing to do," but critics fear it would  hurt troops' morale.

What do you  think? Should gays, lesbians and bisexuals be allowed to serve openly, or should  things stay the way they are now? If you're in the military, tell us how you  think the change will impact your unit.
