The U.S. House passed a sweeping health care reform bill on the evening of November 7. President Obama says he is confident the Senate will pass the bill as well.
The Affordable Health Care for America Act, prevents insurance companies from denying coverage to anyone with a pre-existing condition or charging higher premiums based on gender or medical history. It also provides subsidies to those who cannot afford health insurance, and guarantees coverage for 96 percent of Americans, according to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office.
What do you think of the bill? Does it do enough to change the health care system in the U.S.? Do you think it will pass the Senate? Put yourself on video and share your thoughts.
