Massachusetts Sen. Edward Kennedy underwent surgery on Monday to treat a malignant brain tumor.
Doctors at Duke University Medical Center said the surgery was successful and that the 76-year-old senator should not have any permanent neurological effects. He also will have radiation treatment and chemotherapy.
Have you, or a loved one, been through this type of treatment? We want to hear from you.
