Yves St. Laurent, fashion designer, died Sunday after a yearlong battle with brain cancer. Head of the fashion house of the same name, Laurent led a groundbreaking career. He popularized the beatnik look in the early sixties, was the first major designer to use black models and, in 1966, he changed the face of fashion with his famous tuxedo suit for women.
Do you own any YSL? For the women out there, do you remember the rise of the pants suit? Did a departure from skirts leave you feeling liberated? Send us your photos of yourself in YSL, and tell us why you loved the designer.
