Author A.J. Jacobs has made his life one big experiment. He once outsourced his life to India, and also spent a year living as literally as possible by the Bible.

In his new book, The Guinea Pig Diaries, A.J. chronicles nine such experiments, and he’d like the iReport community to join him for a 10th.

A.J. is challenging you – and himself, of course – to live as the most polite people on Earth for one day. Brush up on your Emily Post and Miss Manners, and bring a bit of dignity and etiquette to everything you do. Check out the video to the right for a few of A.J.’s suggestions, and follow the steps below:
