Beating the heat

It's hot. So hot you can fry an egg on sidewalk; you can bake cookies in your car. Triple-digit temperatures are forecast for much of the Midwest and the heat is expected to spread to the Northeast. Excessive heat warnings are in effect across the country.

How are you beating the heat? Send your photos and video and tell us how hot it is where you live, and what you, your kids and your pets are doing to cool off. We can't wait to see how you chill out.

What's Newsiest?
