Biography
Gary currently serves as Director, Enterprise Applications at a therapeutically focused global contract research organization (CRO) that provides pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies unmatched drug development expertise. Gary provides strategic, tactical and operational direction to develop world-class software systems that address business needs and provide competitive advantages. Gary is currently pursuing his MBA at North Carolina State University with concentrations in Financial and Services Management and plans to graduate in 2009. Additionally, Gary cofounded CubeShield, Inc. in 2002 to bring to market a new office workplace invention. Since inception the company has filed for a patent, partnered with a manufacturer in Hong Kong, licensed trademarks from NCSU, UNC and Duke for the product and has been selling the product online at CubeShield.com. The company has experienced steady revenue growth since 2004. This is significantly due to adoption of the CubeShield product by corporate clients including a large California based semiconductor company. On Octboer 10, 2006 the cofounders were awarded U.S. Patent 7,117,802 covering the CubeShield product. Previously, Gary founded Tectopia, Inc., a technology consulting firm, in 2000 where he managed and developed custom software solutions for corporate clients of all sizes. Gary has worked for numerous startup organizations including Accipiter, MindLever and Centra Software which were all later acquired. Gary holds a B.S. degree in both Computer and Electrical Engineering plus a Masters of Engineering degree from North Carolina State University. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and holds the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification for SQL Server 2005. Gary is PMP certified in Project Management by Project Management Institute (PMI).
